Senior Resident Art Exhibition Entries Open

Artists over the age of 55 are invited to submit a free entry to the Shire of Kalamunda Senior Resident Art Exhibition and Competition which is now open.
CEO Rhonda Hardy said, "Whether you are an avid painter, a sculptor, a photographer or you are interested in any other form of art - we welcome your contribution to this popular annual exhibition."
The Zig Zag Gallery ‘Timeless Expression' exhibition to showcase the entries of the competition as a part of its Seniors Week 2015 celebrations from the 8 November to the 16 November.
All exhibitors must be residents of the Shire of Kalamunda and all media is welcome, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media and photography.
Two ‘people prizes' will be awarded at the end of the exhibition, and an official opening high tea will be held on Monday 9 November at 2pm to 4pm
Artwork must be completed after November 2014 and delivered no later than 12pm on Tuesday 3 November. A single entry is permitted from each exhibitor. For more information and for a copy of the application form please contact 9257 9953 or email culture@kalamunda.wa.gov.au
